SGM. Goins of the U.S. Army stationed in Kabul Afghanistan met Suzan over the internet. He requested items from Ground Zero to be sent to Kabul for their memorial on September 11. Suzan sent the requested items such as NYPD, FDNY hats, patches etc. in a care package to the unit, and wanted to show the faces of these brave men protecting our freedom overseas.

 

"I am doing the same thing for these troops as I did for the workers at ground zero.
I am sending them items that make their time there just a little bit easier."
