23rd
2003,
Dr.
John
Farella
and
his
talented
surgical
team
performed
a
nine
hour
surgery
on
Suzan.
This
surgery
involved
the
extensive
removal
of
breast
tumors,
along
with
the
complete
reconstruction
of
the
frontal
torso.
Suzan's
complete
care
began
with
a
thourough
consultation
to
decide
the
best
plan
of
treatment
for
her.
The
surgery
was
then
performed
in
his
accredited
Mount
Kisco,
New
York
surgical
center.
He
continues
to
monitor
her
throughout
her
recovery,
and
will
contine
this
lasting
patient/doctor
relationship
as
future
needs
arise.
In
addition
to
his
busy
practice,
Dr.
Farella
donates
his
time
and
skills
to
a
non-profit,
volunteer
organization
known
as
Healing
the
Children.
At
his
own
expense,
he
brings
his
team
to
underdeveloped
countries
to
perform
reconstructive
surgery
on
children
who
otherwise
would
not
receive
treatment.
